Privacy Policy

QualiPulse Broken Link Checker is a tool that ChatGPT can use on your behalf to check the links on a public webpage. This policy explains what data it processes.

What the service does

When you ask ChatGPT to check links on a webpage, ChatGPT sends us the page URL and optional settings (such as the maximum number of links to check). Our server downloads that page from the public internet, reads the links in its HTML, sends automated HTTP requests to each linked destination, and returns a report to ChatGPT.

Data we receive

• The URL you ask us to check and the tool settings.
• No account data. The service has no user accounts. We do not receive your name, email address, ChatGPT account details, cookies or authentication tokens.
• Standard connection metadata, such as the IP address of the calling system (normally OpenAI's infrastructure), may be processed by our hosting provider for security and operations.

Requests to third-party websites

Checking links means our server contacts the websites linked from the page you submit. Those websites see a request from our server's IP address with the user agent QualiPulseLinkChecker/1.0 (+https://qualipulse.tech). We never send your identity, cookies or credentials to those sites, and we do not store cookies they set. We only contact public internet addresses; private, internal and reserved network addresses are refused.

What we store and for how long

• Reports are not stored. Each report is returned to ChatGPT in the response and then discarded. Nothing is written to disk or a database.
• Page content is processed in memory only and discarded when the scan finishes. It is never logged or stored.
• Operational logs record scan IDs, timings, result counts and errors. They contain only the scheme and hostname of URLs (for example https://example.com), never full paths or query strings. Logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted.

What we don't do

We do not sell data, use it for advertising, build profiles of users, or use submitted URLs or reports to train AI models.

Your choices

Only submit URLs you are comfortable sharing with a third-party service. Do not submit URLs that contain secrets, such as password-reset or private sharing links. For any privacy question or request, contact us by email at reachus@qualipulse.tech.

Children

The service does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date.
